PLO8 is a losing game, yet I get to the final table. Then finish 9th by pushing my 4th placed stack on the flop with a 2nd nut high flush draw and the bottom end of a straight. Whiffed both and busted.
Thing is I could have easily made as high as 6th by nitting up. Versus if I'd hit I would have had only second stack and could have been set to nit into 4t or 5th.
And even more so I was last to act with no action before me on a 3 to flop board.
I think i should have checked the flop and folded when the turn paired the board.
